A Ring Of Truth

As part of the 'Big Brother Rejuvenation Retreat' the celebs, minus gloomy Rainmaker (Bez) pay a visit to the secret blue circular chamber.
It's where Caprice had her shocking video-peek of John mouthing off about her last Friday, but all the other housemates are stunned when they see the circular mirror slide away to reveal the entrance to this magical place.
In the centre of the chamber is a water feature containing 6 large stones.
Once they've settled on the circular sofa, Jeremy reads their task instructions.
They are to share each other's innermost thoughts, by answering 6 questions written on the underside of the big stones.

As they take turns to answer the questions they must don the rather silly looking 'hat of truth'.

The calm surroundings do seem to have an effect on the spiritual six, and the revelations begin to flow as they sit in the 'ring of truth'.

Here are some of those questions and the celebrity responses...

Jeremy dons the 'hat of truth' and reveals his greatest shortcoming!
Question   Housemate  Housemate's Response

What is your biggest vice? John

My biggest vice is overeating. I overeat, I'm killing myself, I know that I'm doing it. And it's a very sad thing that I lack self discipline in my life. I can't control my life.

Caprice

I have a hard time really letting people in... I have a façade and I'm very closed off. I was kind of shoved into the world of modelling and it's not exactly the easiest business in the world... It's dog eat dog and you don't trust anyone. I put up a serious façade all the time, and I just ... I can't, I can't let that go. Sometimes I let it go when I drink, but I don't drink a lot of alcohol.

Which emotion is important to you and why? Brigitte

My most important emotion in life, I guess is love. Loving yourself is extremely important to be able to love others. Love to me is a very complicated thing actually to accept and to feel and get along with, because if I tell you 'I love you' and you don't tell me 'I love you too' that makes me very sad.

Love is brilliant when I say I love you and my boyfriend says 'and I love you even more', I'm very happy. Love is very complex, I do believe I would have a hard time breathing if I didn't love and I wasn't loved.

Love...when you look at your children and you watch your children playing brings an inner joy and a warmth inside that maybe a relationship won't have... but love is the most important emotion for me.

What do you think is your greatest shortcoming? John

My worst character trait is the inability to forgive. Anybody crosses me... I never forget. I remember. I'm vengeful, it's a horrible, horrible trait I have. I'm eaten up by desire for revenge.

Revenge is a dish best taken hot. And once people cross me... that's why I've got no friends... because in the end I... I say what I think anyway... and it's a characteristic I would not recommnend to anyone to have.

Jeremy

I think my greatest shortcoming is my constant need for attention. I've just got to learn to calm down. I'm like one of these kids that are going "Look at me, look at me!...listen to this... look what I've done!... And I drive myself mad.

I pity anybody that has to live with me, and I wish I didn't need that, I wish I could be more secure in myself. But, there we go.

Is it better to love or be loved? Lisa

Well, you know, I've been through relationships where I've had pain and always thought subsequent to that that it was better to be loved, because you were less likely to get hurt... because you would be the object of someone's adoration, and they would put you on a pedestal.

However, being properly forced to think about that question here now...wow, I'd say it's better to love because love is the most honest thing you could do and you love someone, ideally, unconditionally. And should you gain it back, then what greater reward?

Kenzie

Erm, well this one's quite a tough one for me again, because... I don't want to keep on bringing it up, but I wish I'd been in relationships... not that many... where I've really, really liked someone. I'm not sure if... you know, I'm not sure if I've loved someone...

And again the attention thing, especially the job I do is well... even though it's obviously not true love, but people do, like girls say "Oh I love you", like you know... and it's nice to be loved.

For me personally it is 'to be loved' because that's what I have the greater experience of at the moment.
