| Bez Wins Celebrity Big Brother 3! |
| Brigitte Nielsen is the first celeb to leave the Big Brother house tonight in third place. This leaves Bez and Kenzie as the final 2 contenders for this year's title of Celebrity Big Brother winner. |
| "I can now reveal that the winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2005 is .... Bez!" |
| Bez is as stunned as the bookies are when his name is called, "No way!... I'm not having that man!" |
| The Happy Mondays' legend of a freaky dancer was surprised to have even made the final 3! |
| As he begins his winner's interview, he tells Davina "I don't know what I done to deserve it but, nice one man!" |
| In fact the 40 year old mancunian received 54% of the vote, and it looks like his biggest problem now is coming to terms with that popularity! |
| Davina asks him why he thinks the public have taken to him, Bez tells her "If I'd known, I'd have done it years ago!" and then he breaks off into that special 'Bez' laugh, which is the real answer to Davina's question. |
| When she asks him if he found it hard, he tells her he enjoyed his time in the house and "met good people". Then, as if to contradict, he is shown clips of the times when he was angry with his celebrity housemates and refused to co-operate in the tasks. |
| "You actually pulled yourself out of that quite well, what made you change?" asks Davina. |
| Bez replies "I don't know, that's just me...I'm always quick to get angry and quick to forget." |
| Touchingly, he tells Davina "I'm thinking of me sons" and he explains that he's been worried that his appearance on the show might impact on them. |
Davina remarks that "we couldn't help but notice... you're a teeny, weeny bit clumsy." It is a cue to roll a video-montage of Bez clumsying around the house. The funniest part is when tumbles over the sofa and onto the floor. |
| "Are you like that at home?" she asks. |
| Bez is in denial, "No, not at all... I was just acting in here... give me an Oscar man!" |
| Davina winds up her questioning by asking if Bez got anything else out of the experience aside from the money. |
| Bez's honesty has been part of what has endeared him to so many, and he isn't about to stop now! |
| He explains how much the money helps his situation "Well it's bailed me right out of trouble man! And I'm forever grateful for it man... because I was in a heap of shit man... (like) what you wouldn't believe! Sorry... (for saying 'shit')" |
Bez says one of his highlights in the house was the final task (which involved collaborating with Kenzie and Brigitte to write a song in one hour). He doesn't admit to having a best mate in the house, "I fly solo, me... you know what I mean, they's all me best mates" he says. Davina picks up on shouts of 'Brigitte' from the audience and reminds Bez of their heart-to-heart late night chats, which he acknowledges with a "Yeah man!" |
| Before Davina can even finish the sentence, "... Congratulations, you are the winner of Celebrity Big Brother..." the audience go crazy and so does Bez! He surprises her by jumping up out of his chair. |
| Bouncing up and down and flailing his arms in the air, Bez shouts "Come and have a go if you think you're hard enough!" It's another classic Bez moment. |
| Davina calls him back; she wants to show Bez his best bits. Appropriately enough the backing track is the Happy Mondays hit 'Step On', which reached number 5 in the charts back in 1990. |
| As the Celebrity Big Brother series draws to a close Bez is reminded that he has won £40,000 plus the £10,000 he received as winner of the 'Sticky Money' task. He looks well pleased, and says he's going to spend it on 'pimping up my eyes', which is Bez-speak meaning he'll get some neon lamps for his motor! |
| That's nearly it then! Bez walks over and joins his fellow celebs who are queuing up to hug him. |

| There is another Celebrity Big Brother 3 winner, called 'Charity'. |
| Davina's announces the good news, which is that the total amount of charity money raised is over £250,000! |
| Maybe that Big Brother isn't quite so evil after all! |
