CBB4 Update - Day 15 (pm) - Day 16 (am) - Fall out from the fall outs

  • Pete Burns seems to show no remorse over his verbal savaging of Traci Bingham last night. "Where's idiot?" he asks Chantelle Houghton, who silently witnessed the attack. She seems to know exactly who he's referring to.
  • Rula Lenska voices her upset over her own nomination last night. She is disappointed that George Galloway, who she had come to regard as a friend, had no heistation in putting her name forward.

She has a private chat with Maggot in the bedroom and tells him that although she has tried to act as if nothing happened with George, she's received "absolutely no response... There's just been negation as if it was a disembodied voice speaking." Maggot supportively reminds Rula "you haven't done anything wrong".

Meanwhile George and Pete Burns are in the spa talking about Rula. George says "It's the same kind of Thespian insincerity as the Californian insincerity we talked about last night, do you know what I mean?"

Pete tells his bathing buddy that "it reminds me why, since 1983, I made a conscious decision not to mix with other celebrities because they'd all trample on each other's eyeballs to get to the top. And I was so dying to jump in last night and say, 'Actually, you did say that it made you fiercely competitive and you're out to win'. But I just thought, 'Oh What next? We're ganging up on her?' "
  • With tensions in the house at a new high, dinner today is a muted affair with jovial banter missing off the menu!

However, Rula Lenska would still like to get back on speaking terms with George Galloway and after dinner she tells Dennis Rodman "I just sort of hoped that George would come up to me and say, 'This is the reason why I said those things', and not for me to have to go on hands and knees to have to ask for the reason".

Dennis advises Rula to get the matter off her chest with George, and it's not long before she finds herself in the lounge doing exactly that...

Rula Lenska:  No... just I hate... I hate moods...

George Galloway:  Mmm-hmm.

Rula Lenska:  Erm... and I know that... you know, what you were faced with yesterday was horrid, and I know that now, having really sort of thought about it, that the three choices were obvious, and I don't... I am not surprised by that. What I would really like to know, for curiosity, because I honestly never said that I was out to win...

George Galloway:  Well, in that case, somebody has... has er... hs misrepresented you.

Rula Lenska:  But the other thing which is of much more interest, is that I try too hard. And I want...

George Galloway:  Well, once I heard that story, I began to notice what I took to be a sort of campaign. I mean, basically, going from flower to flower, pollinating it. But to be honest...

Rula Lenska:  What? You mean things like massage and...

George Galloway:  And kisses and cuddles and hugs and walks and, y'know...

Rula Lenska:  That's just... I have always been like that. That's just the way I am.

George Galloway:  Er... I'll be perfectly frank with you. That would not have been... You say that the choice was obvious. Actually, it wasn't. But given that it had to be a joint selection... er... if you think about it, it's obvious then. If I had been in with somebody else, that would not have been the three that I would have nominated.

Rula Lenska:  Yeah, but it being a game... I mean, apart from the fact that he'd had a few drinks... You could have put the ball in his court at some point so that he... you could have argued...

George Galloway:  Not really, 'cause he... not really... he would have been one of them. He's hardly going to agree to put himself up.

Rula Lenska:  Oh, right. Okay.

George Galloway:  Chantelle might have been another. He's not going to agree to that.

Rula Lenska:  You see, I suppose in a way you're right that some... sometimes I...

George Galloway:  Oh yeah, definitely...

Rula Lenska:  ...expect acknowledgment.

George Galloway:  Yeah. With respect, I don't make many... I don't make many mistakes.

Rula Lenska:  I'm glad we had a good talk about it.

(Oops!... George just mentioned how he would have nominated! He hasn't just made a mistake... has he?)

  • The next morning in the diary room Samuel Preston talks to Big Brother about how he's getting on with Pete Burns. Preston walked out during Pete's tirade against Traci yesterday, and it seems the episode is misting the rosy spectacled regard he's harboured for the witty and biting scouser. He tells BB...

"The relationship I have with Pete is so bizarre. Beause I really... I like him and I really respect him and I think he's intelligent and I think he's really cool and everything, but he's like a... he just... he is so like... completely, inappropriate the whole time. (Laughs) And it's funny, but it's just like, you know, it gets a bit much sometimes. Like... he makes these like flirtatious comments to me or whatever, but he only does it to do my head in. D'ya know what I mean? I dunno, this house would be, you know, infinitely worse without him."
